Female artists are still not visible enough. That's why we want to make a statement.

In this exhibition many portraits of artists who identify themselves as female show self portraits om paper, size A5. This way, we literally give ourselves, female artists in Rotterdam, a face.

Welcome to the third edition of the Groot Rotterdams Atelier Weekend, which will take place on 24 and 25 September 2022 11:00 -17:00 h. This event provides art lovers a unique moment to meet artists in their studios and to buy work directly from them, but also to explore the many studio complexes located throughout Rotterdam.

I will show the fresh documentary 'about A woman - witte wieven' and drawings at Lambertusstraat 104, Rotterdam.

In motion an interaction emerges between that which moves and what surrounds it. Lines intersect, framing the movement, and leaving traces behind. Shapes form, both naturally and through human intervention. Where do these lines lead, what do we see there, and what does it move within us?
